About Me

Welcome to Blue Turtle Design.

My name is Pattie Kisilevich and I am the owner of Blue Turtle Design. My logo is the Blue Turtle. Crossing your path with a turtle is said to prove you are in a good place right now and you should enjoy it.  Tutles share an association with water which lends meanings of motion, intuition and emotion; these are components of my work

For the past 18 years I have shared all my goals and art projects with my supportive and loving husband Terry. He shares my love for lapidary (the cutting and polishing of stones).  We have been members of the Tumbleweed Lapidary Club for the past several years.  That started my beading and jewelery creations.

I found Paverpol from a collegue at work who came in with her piece and was excited that she created this statue.  She explained the process and the class - I was in love! I immediatley knew this is for me!

I found the next available beginner class and was COMPLETELY hooked!! The next weekend I signed up for the Certified Papverpol Instructor course.  Two days later, after  lots of laughs, lots of information and the dreaded Paverpol test and I am a new Instructor.  Now to share this amazing product with anyone who will listen!

My artistic thumb started when I was in Junior High and I was awarded an Art Scholorship to the Minneapolis School of Art.  I kept with the drawing and painiting for many years but slowly put art on the back burner to develop my Human Resource career. I mesh my creation nights with working on my Human Resource and Labour Relations degree right now.

Paverpol has re-newed my artistic side and I am excited to start this new venture to make wonderful pieces of art and make many new friends!!
